I'm working with Access 9.0.2720. The app is divided into
FrontEnd and BackEnd. There are no users yet, just me.
The FE and BE MDB files are on my c: drive. There is no
security set up.
I open a form in design mode and make a change, and then
run the form. Then I close the form, and try to open the
form again in design mode, but I am told I do not have
exclusive access and my changes won't be saved!
I have set the database (FE) to OpenExclusive.
I am the ONLY person opening these files on my local drive.
I do not have two instances of Access running.
Can't get any work done! Is this a known bug? Everything
I've read in the newsgroups so far assumes that more than
one person is using the files.
TIA
