Sheesh. I don't know why no one answered this yet....
Say you creat a file F1
Create another called F2
have them BOTH OPEN in Excel
in F2, any cell, type =, then click Window, F1, and click
on the data you want to reference in file F1. Press enter
and you will see that the vbalue is there.
the cell now looks something like this:
=[f1.xls]Sheet1!$A$1
Easy as that!
However...
If you are sharing this around a network, it gets harder
very quickly.
The file F1 must be available at all times, or users of F2
will not get the data correctly.
See your Network Admin folks in that case..
