help!

i'm looking for a document mgmt tool/browser that will
allow the user to search large archives/repositories of
Word docs... it must be:

1) able to do various types of searches (keyword, boolean,
alpha-numeric, etc.)...
2) save searches and search criteria...
3) allow the user to collate their searched documents, and
then edit them as needed...

if anyone knows of such a product, PLEASE let me know... i

Hi bob

There are any number of such programs. Search Google for "Document management". Names that come to mind include Worldox, Trim
TopDrawer and DocsOpen from Hummingbird. However, do not construe this as a recommendation for any of these products: I've never
yet met a document management system that I really like!
