does anyone know how to scan a document into word and be
able to change the text?
also when i scan there are funny little characters on the
page. please help

Stacie -

Your scanner should come with scan software, and,
possibly, Optical Character Reading (OCR) software. If
so, you want to scan OCR. If not, you will have to
purchase OCR software (OmniPage Pro is one).
