Bonnie

I have someone I work with whos last name in Zundal. And
for some reason in the past few weeks, right after she
installed the service patchs, her last name ended up being
autocorrected to Sundial. I had her check her auto-correct
and I also had her check her dictonary. Did not see it?
Any thoughts

There is only one location in Word that will automatically
corrects entries, and that is the location you said Ms.
Zundal already checked. I would suggest that she check
there again by clicking...

Tools | AutoCorrect | AutoCorrect: then carefully scroll
in the Replace column and look for Zundal. Once it's
found, select and delete.

Be aware that accepting any patch or update from other
than the actual microsoft website subjects one to worms,
viruses, and snooping ads.

Hi

If it's not auto correct, then it's a practical joker using search and
replace or even a macro.

Probably the guy who keeps asking her for the time!!!

Make sure Ms. Zundal doesn't have "Automatically use suggestions from the
spelling checker" checked in the Tools | AutoCorrect Options dialog.
