Trying to copy and paste one document into a style template.

Want the old document to take the sytles of the designation template.
Will not work with copy and paste.

Brings old styles old style to the new template, yet we want the styles
and margins to addapt to the new document. This may not be possible.

Has any one done this before.

Pulling my hair out,

Hi Ros.

Yes indeed! :)

If you have styles with the same name in both documents, then all should
work as you expect it (i.e., the copied content changes "style"
according to the target definitions). But if you have a style in the
source that does not exist in the target, this style will carry over.

So in essence, you have to make sure this does not happen. Either by
searching for such styles and replacing them with something different,
or applying "Normal" style on the whole doc and style it through
correctly after pasting.
