Hi, I'll get straight to the problem. When I open a new word document
it come up with an old one that I saved a long time ago and don't need
anymore. I have tried to go to open new blank document but it just
comes up with the same old one. Please Help! Thanx

Well, you got straight to the problem alright, and the fix is fairly
straightforward - but it depends on which version of Word you're using, and
that you fail to mention... We can't even be sure you're on a Mac:)

Assuming you are on a Mac you've somehow managed to save the stuff to your
Normal template & you'll find what you need here:

All you need to do is open the Normal template and delete the text from
it. Use "Finding the Normal Template" in the link to do so.
