HELP !!!

It is emergency situation, all my office application stop working,
each time I try to open them, there will be a warning about the
application launch failure followed by message: The application
"Excel" could not be launched because of a shared library error:
"<Microsoft Excel><Apple;Carbon;Multimedia><CFMPriv_QuickTime><>
I tried to restart the system and launch from the disc, but neither
works

I have a report to finish due tomorrow, I am desperate, please help
me!

Re-apply the latest Apple combo updater, that might fix it.

Couple of points to help you in future:

You haven't given us anywhere near enough information to be able to help
you. As a minimum, we need to know the version, level, and patch level of
your operating system and your copy of Office. So: OS 10.4.11 and Office
11.3.8 as an example. Without that, all we can say is "don't know".

Posting a message with the subject "HELP!!" makes it a lot less likely that
you will get any By definition, "everyone" who comes in here gets
'help', that's what we're for. But the people giving the help are
'specialists'. They scan the posts looking for items within their area.
Yours is not in any 'area', and so it may not be opened or read by 'anyone'.
