im having a problem with a virus called W32/Jeffo. i
cannot access most programs because my antivirus software
(Anti-Vir) deleted all the executes saying there were
virus' on it. PLEASE HELP!

Why not try a virus or anti-virus news group rather than an MS-Office one!

advise - and provide the tools - to solve the problem.

I guess I misunderstood the question. The only way to retrieve deleted exec
files not in the recycle bin will be to reinstall the programmes. You might
see if inserting the installation disc - hold down shift to stop it
launching - and opening it to find the missing exec files and dragging them
to their rightful places. Bit heath robinson, but I don't have any other
ideas.

If you don't get any useful help in the next hour or so, I would place
another message asking a MVP in the header.

If your refering to a newer verison of Office goto the
Microsoft Office folder in the start menu and open the
Office tools folder and select Microsoft Office
Application Recovery. This should do the trick.
