I was starting a document in Office 2003 Word when all of a sudden a
paragraph symbol came un and now every document that i open it comes up and
puts dot, hyphens when ever i space for a word or anything...how can i get
out of it

They are non-printing marks that can provide useful information about the
contents of your document. Toggle them on/off using Ctrl+Shift+* (8). See:
