Help

Has anyone heard of this? I have completely as far as I know, uninstalled
Office 2003 Professional. To my knowledge I have no other office product on
the computer. Everytime I go to Microsoft Update I am told to download and
install:

Update for Outlook 2003 Junk Filter (KB925534)
Office 2003 Service Pack 2
Update for Office 2003 (KB907417)

I do this and Microsoft Update tells me I have installed them correctly even
though I've completely uninstalled Office 2003 Professional. The next time I
go up Microsoft Update it does the exact same thing.

I need Office 2003 but I can't install it until the above problem is
corrected. Any ideas?

Any help in clearing up this problem is sincerely appreciated.

But I take the liberty of asking you that in future cases you please
might use a more specific/significant subject for your thread.

"Help" does just mean Everything or Nothing.

By using a distinctive subject you would do yourself a favour:
In the "Newsgroup View" all postings get sorted after the topic.
That "Help" appears hundreds of times is only too natural.
And that each new posting with this subject gets sorted under "Help"
(and therefore buried deep down in old stuuf so taht no one will see
it, too.

You may need to download and install the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to assist you
in cleaning up after Office 2003 and any other redundant office programs.
