Hello,
I just finished my Access training & got a job as an MS-Access System
Administrator.
The funny thing about my training is, it did not include ANY of the things I
need to do with this database.
So, I am asking for "Help", not someone to do this for me, but to point to,
or show me examples of what I want to do.
The things I need to do are:
1. Daily automatically backup database, & backup database to a 2nd hard
drive at 12:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m..
2. Send a message before backing up.
3. Daily, automatically logoff devices and or users attached to database,
after 20 minutes of non-use.
4. Automatically compact database, every Friday at 6:30 p.m., then backup
(ref #1).

Thank you,

Most of these things are best accomplished using Windows tools such as
the Windows Scheduler, *outside* of Access.

However, there are third-party tools for a modest price which do this.
Rather than reinventing the wheel, check out Total Access Agent at
http://www.fmsinc.com or the resources at the Access Junkie's site
