hi
i am doing a project on magazine cover and working on
microsoft word 2000.when i chose the background colour and
set that page for print,the text and the picture are
piinted but the main problem the background colour does
not come when the page is printed.i can only see the
background colour on my computer screen.please reply me as
soon as possible,my clients will be waiting for their
magazine covers.

Dear Ozma

The background colour option only works in HTML and regrettably it doesn't
print. The only workaround is to create a watermark that comprises one large
Text Box filled with the background colour. This should print under the text
layer.

To add another tidbit to Terry's reply, thankfully Word 2003 they
included an option for printing a color or image background under
Tools/Options/Print.
