help!

I bought a cpu recently (about a month), and it was
supposed to have all microsoft basic programs (I don't
know much about programs, I call "basic programs" to
those I see daily at work or at friends's houses...). The
fact is, I do not have Microsoft Excel or Microsoft
Powerpoint installed in my cpu, and I really need (at
least) Powerpoint, because I received a document in that
format (?) and I can't open it in any other program,
besides Powerpoint presentations. What to do???? This is
very urgent...

"basic programs" might not include MS Office. You can download a PowerPoint
viewer from http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;126492.
