I am new to using putting video in powerpoint, I have tried 3 different
programs this week & I am having a bad experience.
I have tried to read the tutorials, but I am not gettin' the lingo...
I work at my church & we purchased some videos for backgrounds for our
worship music.
- How do I get the words to stay on the screen once I have a video in place
(upon viewing my ppt slide show, all the words went off when the video
started)

_do I make a new screen for each verse or can I duplicate the first one?

can the ppt slides be ran on another computer that does not have PFC pro?

Video always runs on the top "layer" of the slide.

I'm not sure what programs you've been trying, but if you need video
backgrounds, see the following:

http://www.technologytrish.co.uk/ppttipstextin vid.html
http://www.animationsforvideo.com/html/powerpoint__video_backgrounds.htm

Or perhaps the place you purchased the video backgrounds from has
suggestions -- especially if they sold these as video *backgrounds* for
PowerPoint.
can the ppt slides be ran on another computer that does not have PFC pro?

Yes. But PFC doesn't embed the video into PPT; you need both the
presentation and the video. PFC adds the video to the same folder as the
presentation and links it, so you may just want to copy the entire folder to
the other computer.

You should really get the church to buy one of the many programs which are
designed for use in church. I use Presentation Manager but there are many
others: Easy Worship, Media Shout, Song Show Plus. The backgrounds you bought
will probably have been designed for use with these programs. You can try
Presentation Manager for 30 days with a free download. It's a great program
for what you want to do. It can also play a DVD clip from a set start point
and end point and show words over live video feed. Try it out!
