Heres a "Best Method" Question.

J

Using: FrontPage 2002 and Access 2000 on an IIS 5.0
server.

I have a form that submits the input information into an
Access Database. Once the records are submitted I have a
need to be able to update the information with a "Top
Stories" entry (just and "X" that trips my query
results).

My question is: What is the best method (in a secure
intranet invironment) to be able to edit those records
with out physically opening the database each day ?

Thanks,
JCrowe

P.S. I tried a Data Access Page but my server admin seems
to take issue with this.

I would set up a custom ASP (or ASPX, if you prefer .NET) page that allows
you to open the record and edit. You will want to add some form of
authentication on this particular page (perhaps another "web").

FP2002 gives you the ability to create edit and delete pages via the Database component. I don't use
it so you will have to check the help file.
