Here's a web host NOT to use

LunarPages.com. Their service sucks. Really sucks.

I selected them as my web host in December and things went fine -- built my
web in MS FP and published it. Published a few changed pages.

Then, a week ago, I started having problems. Cannot publish. Cannot open
the live web -- which I could open previously.

Now, keep in mind that I have two other webs that are hosted by another
company -- no problem with them at all. I can access these two live webs,
publish to both webs, no problem.

With the web that's on LunarPages, nothing works. In fact, when I access it
now, the theme and links have dropped off all pages.

For the past week I have submitted trouble tickets to their tech support who
has replied with cheerful e-mails telling that they had uninstalled and
re-installed the FP extensions and they can access the live web with
http://webname.com. So, I try that and nothing works.

Just spent thirty minutes on the phone with them -- the tech told me several
times that he really did not know much about MS FP.

I'm moving to a new host ASAP. In fact, I'm requesting to move the domain
to the place that hosts my other two -- should have done that in the first
place.

hi

may be a problem in your computer. Try editing the website from a different
computer, if you are getting the same error then it might be a server side
issue. If the issue turned out to be a client side issue, search your
coputer for the files *.web and delete them ( these are temp web files).

thanks
