Hewlett Packard model 6110 Printing Problems

My new HP 6110 prints sporadically from Word. It is USB;
Win 98SE. It copies and faxes with no problems. Anyone
with a fix on a similar problem? (Tried HP support - it's
80% useless.) Thanks.

Are you using their latest printer driver? If yes, can you roll back to one
that used to work? I am assuming that at some point, it did work.

Milly, thanks for the idea. In my case, it won't help
because I just bought the 6110 and have the latest
driver. Am now using the RAW input instead of spooling.
Am obtaining better results.

Did you check with HP to verify that you have the latest driver? My
experience with HP printers and scanners is that the driver provided on the
installation CD with a new unit is rarely the latest.
