i guess i have to just try and create a new note and see what happens. any
suggestions. ive ran all the updates for my system. virus scan all that
stuff. even downloaded registry fix. however although i have downloaded all
the updates. office is telling me that i dont have the most current version

Sorry, buttman, I have no idea on what might be the case.

You might try what you suggested: delete the page in question. Close the
notebook and the ON and then re-open the notebook and create a new page.

basically i figured out what was wrong when I tried to import the clipart
from microsoft word into microsoft one note it would crash. So i deleted the
clip art and tried pasteing again and it worked just fine. tried creating
new sections but that did not work.

Also in power point you can view all your slides or if in your in word you
can view all your documents. so i have 7 or 8 woorkbooks. some of them have
alot of sections. but there is no slideshow function or nothing of that
nature. i guess thats why they have the tabs on the side. but for
presentation purposes is there a way to do this? im assumeing export to
powerpoint but not interested in takeing it to that level.

Good to hear that you could solve the problem.
tried creating new sections but that did not work.

Could you pls be a bit more specific on how you tried to add sections
and what happened?
Which error message(s) ?

Right. ON is good for at least 1001 tasks but it's definitely not a
*presentation* program.

No, that's just the basic concept of having pages filed.

Do what?
Run a screenshow / slideshow?

As said, ON is nothing to compare with PPT.

How about putting all of what you to "present" just on 1 page, open the
full screen view and then scroll down?
