HI Again (Conditional formula)

HI
I want to make MASTER Profit and Loss account with all the possible entries
ie different entries in each line.
Now I want to auto hide in print the line that have no entries.
I will explain it more here.

Profit and loss account for year ended XXXXXX

£
£
Sales
70,000
Less Cost Of goos Sold:
Purchases 50,000
Closing Stock 1,000 (
49,000)
Gross Profit
19,000

Less Expenses:
Rent 1000
Insurance
Delivery
Wages 3000
Light and heat 1000
Interest
---------------

(5,000)

---------
Net Profit
14,000

Now the question again is
I want to appear the
Insurance, Delivery and interest in the proforma but as there are no entries
for them ie no numbers in front so I want them not be shown in Printpreview
and just hide them on printing.

Should look like this
Profit and loss account for year ended XXXXXX

£
£
Sales
70,000
Less Cost Of goos Sold:
Purchases 50,000
Closing Stock 1,000 (
49,000)
Gross Profit
19,000

Less Expenses:
Rent 1000
Wages 3000
Light and heat 1000
---------------

(5,000)

---------
Net Profit
14,000

Is is possible???
thanks

I'd look at selecting your data and using data|filter|autofilter.

You can use the dropdown to show only those cells that are non-blank.

It isn't quite automatic, but it sure leads to other variations (really easily,
too).

sorry for the late responce as I was not on line for a while ;)
well I did try the auto filter but does not give me the result I want.
at the momet I have a sheet which has all the possible entries for Profit
and loss account. and on completion I delete all the rows which are not
used.
thanks anyway for your time.
