How do I get hibernate to work on Vista. Only sleep and shut off are
available. I followed the directions in help: "Right-click Command Prompt,
type powercfg -h on, and then press ENTER," but hibernate still doesn't
appear in the choices of turning off the computer, only sleep and shut off .

Hi Dr. Dave,

I'm afraid you've done it again, posting a Windows question in a
Word-related newsgroup. It would be a good idea to double-check the newgroup
title before starting to post.

I've set follow-ups to this post to the
microsoft.public.windows.vista.general newsgroup.
