Hiccups In My Powerpoint Presentation

I created a powerpoint presentation for the first time three weeks ago. I was
just playing around to see how it works so I decided to do a simple
powerpoint presentation explaining our success in cleaning up our facility. I
presented it to my manager who was really impressed on how it was put
together. To make a long story short, i updated the powerpoint to include
music files along with the slides. The problem that i'm experincing is
hiccups from the powerpoint presentation. What's causing this to happen? The
powerpoint is about 235 Mb in size, would that be the problem?

As well as reducing the size generally as Lucy suggests (which will help
especially if you have large images)...

Multiple large embedded wav files can cause stuttering. You could:

A Try embedding mp3s files which will be much smaller

OR
B use linked music files which may reduce the effect.

Either way you will need to reinsert the sounds
