Hidden dialog in Flags menu

All,
I want to change and customize Flags in OneNote2007 and I have used the
"Customize MY Note Flags" dialog. I have flags, most renamed, that use CTRL+1
through CTRL+9 and -- so far -- two others beyond that set. They *all* show
in the menu that drops down when I click on the little down-arrow next to
Flags. However, some "clickable" fly-out item is hidden behind the drop -
down that shows me the flags that are already there. When I click, "More" a
white bar appears behind the drop-down menu and peeks out just a bit. The
"Customize…" is still there. This is going to give me "More" but more of what?

I, like others here, want the flags to be easily searchable. It would be
great to have a list of saved searches that execute quickly.

You can have more than 9 flags defined, and only the first 9 will have
the KB shortcuts (Ctrl+number) defined. The fact that the extra 2 flags
appear in the Flags list is by design.

Can you clarify where you see the flyout menu, (on which toolbar?) and
what appears to be covered up by part of that menu?

Erik:
Yes, I know about the number of flags. It's a coincidence that my current
flag set is the same as the menu-design choice you refer to. I am trying to
be cautiopus about the number of flags I make. I DO WISH that more flags
could be invoked with keystrokes, so eventually I guess I will get a keyboard
macro program.

My OP came because I guess that when I make more flag assignments I cannot
"set" any flag beyond my first nine. In ON2007 you have to click the little
down-arrow to set a different flag than the one showing in the toolbar under
Flag (which shows the last Flag used, right?)

Where the hidden fly-out occurs? I think I answered that above:

Did I make this more clear with a couple of of phrases added and syntax edits?

And, Erik, as you are a OneNote tem member at MS, let me also repeat:
I, like others here, want the flags to be easily searchable because they
represent a filter view of our data. Perhaps there is another way to do this.
Does anyone have an idea?.

It would be great to have a list of saved searches that execute quickly.
Will you be willing to comment on any internal discussion of the value of
this capabilitiy? Next release?

Erik,
I offer my sincere apology. It must be the learned style and good info in
your posts since I started participating here. <g> Seriously, wouldn't it
be cool if we could
1. make easily searchable flags with a quick keystroke (past the original 8
or 9 )
and,
2. invoke a saved search that gave us a particular "view" of our data that
fit certain parts of our duties or interests?

I still wonder what is in that hidden menu picker...
