Hidden Extracted Files

R

Roy

Hello group
I just downloaded some ebooks from the net in RAR and when it was
extracted. The folders appear to have the shade of hidden files. The
books are in pdf. How did this happen? Is there way to make it appear
normal?
Thanks in advance.

RAR files are compressed, similar to .zip files. You need a third-party RAR
extractor.

Thanks for your reply but what I mean here is that I already extracted
the file via WINRAR but what I found is a shaded folder much like if
you show some hidden files.
I want to know how did this happen. If the files were hidden by the
original uploader how come it still appear like a hidden file when it
was extracted.
Is there a way to make this file appear normal?

It is not something caused by, or correctable by any of the Office
applications. I suggest you right click on them in Windows Explorer and
select Properties and then UNcheck the "Hidden" box. If that doesn't
solve it, please repost your query in the group for the operating system
that you are using.
