Hidden Paragraph Marks ruining TOC numbering

T

Turmoil

I created a document attaching heading styles to each of the numbering
levels. I needed to insert text next to the heading level without it
generating it in the TOC. I used a hidden paragraph mark and then
created the text that I didn't want to show up in TOC using the
"Normal" style.

I generated the TOC using styles and all of the paragraphs were correct
except for the levels that I used the hidden paragraph mark. Those
paragraphs showed up with the correct text but are missing the level
numbering.

Hi Turmoil,

Put the supplementary text into a textbox instead, with the outside line set
to 'no line'.

Cheers
