Hidden records/pages in word

Hello Folk's,

I am working on a form within a word document (I have no access to Access
eh?)and it's purpose is for users to answer predetermined questions and input
responses into text form fields which live within various table. The form
will be protected to prevent questions being altered.

I was wondering if there was a way that when selecting a tick box(s) showing
a quantity, for example, if the number of members of a family is greater than
one, that an appropriate amount of input boxes appear in order to capture the
total number of family member details.

The point of minimising the number of tables in the word docs is to save on
printing out unwanted sheets - in other words only print out what's needed.

I am new to this forms stuff so if you can make responses easy enough for a
five year old child to understand then I'm sure I can find one waiting
outside in the street that I can ask to decipher the instruction given.

Many thanks in advance.

Pat Convey.
