Hidden Sound File in PP 03-Help!

Downloaded trial version PP 03 and opened a PP 2000 file with music. Music
now starts in second, slide but was originally set up in pp 2000 to start in
first slide. The speaker icon doesn't show up in any of the slides or on any
of the custon animations windows. I tried inserting the music again starting
with the first slide and ended up with music starting twice, once in first
slide and again in second slide, playing music on top of music . . .
interesting sound! So I took the second sound file out. I need to take the
original sound file out but have tried every thing I can think of and it
simply doesn't show up anyplace. Does anybody have any suggestions? I have
downloaded SP 2 for PP 03 but that didn't help.

Are you sure the speaker icon is not there? Zoom to say 33% and see if it is
has not been dragged off the slide. Also, maybe the sound has been attached
to the slide transition. Go in the slide transition task pane and see if the
sound file is there, click on the list arrow and choose no sound.

Tried the 33% option but never did find the lost speaker icon . . .HOWEVER,
your second option did the trick! Then I reinserted the sound file at the
first slide and all seems well! What a relief! It was driving me crazy!
