Hidden subject headers when forwarding mail

Does anyone have any knowlege about why deleted subject
lines still appear in the preview and message header when
forwarding mail with subject line revisions?

If I change the text before forwarding, the new test
appears as the subject but the old text appears when
viewed using the preview with message option.

It also is visible in the message header.

How can I stop this potentially dangerous problem ?
