Hidden task from timesheet. But, when published the project. The task reappeared

Hi

A project manager gave the access to resource and ask them to hide the task
from their timesheets.

Team members has hidden the tasks and informed the manager.

Now, project manager added new resource to the project schedule and added
new tasks to that resource.

When he published the project schedule, the resources who had hidden the
tasks from their timesheets again able to see the tasks that were hidden.

Is there any solution where there is something MORE than hiding the tasks
from timesheets.

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

I sounds like you are using 2003, in which case, the PM is probably using
re-publish on the task or the entire plan not realizing that this
republishes hidden tasks.
