Hidden Tasks Not Showing In All Assignments View

I have an issue with the Resource Assignments view (Project Server
2003). With All Assignments selected, some assignments are still not
appearing.

I have traced this to a couple projects and resources. In every case,
the resource has hidden the tasks from their timesheet. Simply
changing the WASSN_REMOVED_BY_RESOURCE value in the database changes
whether the task is shown or hidden in the All Assignments view.

This is not the case for the majority of hidden tasks - I myself have
hidden tasks, but all of mine display correctly in the All Assignments
view. There are no special characters in the project names, task
names, or resource names, only periods and dashes. I cannot find any
obvious inconsistencies within the projects or their records in the db
-- any ideas?

My apologies if this question has been asked/addressed before, I could
not find it in my searches.

In my experience, dashes are as likely to cause problems as other operand
characters. Under_scores are usually safe. In no way am I suggesting that's
the problem here as all you can do to detect that issue is trial and error
experiments.
