My problem is similar to Bruce's in a thread prior to
this one.
I inherited some chapter files, the same files being used
for both for student and instructor versions of a
training manual.
When I hide hidden text, the document is 25 pages long;
when I display hidden text, it is 50 pages long, so I
can't simply tell Word to start the second file page
numbering at 29 since when the text is hidden the first
file ends at 12.
Is there a way to have Word adjust what the starting page
number is for a series of files like this, based on the
last page number of the preceding chapter (which is a
separate Word document)?
Many thanks,
-B.
