HIdden word doc......

Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Hi - I wanted to keep a word doc. I created hidden/saved somewhere the wasn't obvious and have now lost it. It is definitely on the Mac HD as this was a prefix used before the file save name. I've no come to look for it in Word and cannot find it at all - any suggestions?!!

Use Spotlight in Finder to search for some word or phrase you know is in the
content.

Or click on File>Open Recent, select your document, and when it is open,
ctrl-/right-click the document title in the document bar to reveal its
location.

Thanks both - I have tried these options so think I may have inadvertently deleted...such is life sometimes. Thanks for your assistance.
