Hidden Worksheets Reappear on Open

When I open an Excel SS that I created (new or old) and had chosen t
"Hide" certain worksheets, the worksheets are all there. They do no
stay hidden. While I'm working in the file they are hidden, as soon a
I save it and then reopen it, they all reappear. I have tried openin
in safe mode, but still have the same problem. I have large files an
do not need to see all of the worksheets, but they won't stay hidden.
Any ideas?

Can you try opening the workbook in safe mode, hiding the worksheets you want
hidden, then saving once more. Then close that workbook.

Now test it by reopening it in safe mode.

If the worksheets stay hidden this time, then it sounds like you have a macro at
work.

Look under the ThisWorkbook module for code that's trying to "help."
