Hide blank space at bottom of form

Does anyone know how I can hide the big blank area at the
bottom of my form. I put some command buttons in my
footer and I would like to close up the gap between the
detail section and the footer. I have tried 'can shrink'
in Properties but this doesn't seem to work.

Grap the footer with the left mouse button (The cursor will change to 2
parallel lines) and drag it up.

Hi

It's already as far up as it will go in design view
without hiding the fields, it is when I switch to form
view that I get a big gap between the detail and footer
section.

Sounds like your form is maximized and you are using 'single form' as the
default view. You can change it to continuous, or restore your form and use
Window, Size to fit Form, or put the command button in the detail section.
