Hide button based on field

I have two buttons, one called approved and one denied. I want to have these
hidden unless the person filling the form out equals one of three people.
The field is a text box and the user types their name. Unless the field
matches one of the three names these buttons should stay hidden. I did a
conditional format and it works fine for one but as soon as I add the other
two users it stops functioning. I have all three users in a Approvers role
and even when I set the user roles is not equal to it still fails.

How can I get this setup to work properly?

Any help on this would be great.

What do your conditions look like? And what are you using to join them? "and"
or "or"?

I beleive this was a user error on my part. I set the condition to that if
the field didnt match the assigned approver then hide the button. At that
point I was viewing the form (I am an approver) so I would always see the
button.

My mistake but thank you for the quick response. I will be posting another
question shortly about doing a search on a global address list.
