Hide Columns in Query Design

Is it possible to hide columns in query design? I am modifying a query someone else designed and my recordset is showing columns that I do not see in the design. I have checked the SQL and there is nothing there either. I am working in Access97

I just added more fields to my table that my query is based on. When I added the new fields to the table, they are automatically showing in my recordset but still not in my query design....HELP

I figured it out.......an * in the SQL that I didn't see before
