How do you hide or remove the numbers in the Task ID? The information posted
only works for the older version.

Not sure I follow....do you mean Tools > Options > View > Show Outline Number?

Brenda,
If you simply want to hide the ID column, (you can't "delete" fields in
Project, you can only hide them), go to View/Tables/More Tables. The
highlighted table in the More Tables window is the active table
associated with the active view. Unless you want to change the view
table in your Global file so that all project files will have the ID
column hidden, I suggest you hit the Copy button to create your own
custom version of the default view table. Once you have your custom
version of this particular view table, edit it to include only those
fields that you want to show as columns. If you hide the ID field you
might also want to uncheck the option that locks the first column.

Hope this helps.
