Hide Insert Button with hint text on Repeating Section

I have a repeating section created that is only displayed when it meets a
condition, (e.g. if field A is FALSE then hide section)

However the Insert Button and Hint Text is always there, regardless if the
previous condition is met. You can't see the repeating section, just the
button and hint text. I know that you can go into the section's properties
and modify the default setting to hide this information, but then it isn't a
repeating section anymore.

How can hide that Insert Button and Hint Text initially? I want it to show
up at the end of the repeating section when the initial condition is met.

You can't just hide the repeating table insert widget... unfortunately. You
can, howerver, place the repeating table inside of a section and hide/show
the section based on your condition. If you need the table header to still
show, then have a separate section with just the header that shows in the
opposite condition.
