Hi,
We use PowerPoint in our digital signage setup. We have installed Powerpoint
2003 Viewer in 3 boxes and have Windows Embedded XP installed. The PC's are
automatically shutdown at 11 p.m each night and autostarted at 8 a.m each
morning.
I'ts basically a LCD monitor and a PC that is running a Powerpoint
presentation as a slideshow.
Our problem begun when we started to use video in the presentations. The
mouse pointer is always visible when we play the video and we tried different
settings to try to make it "invisible. Yes it can be done if we hook up a
mouse to the PC's and move it to an area that doesn't contain video material.
But we can't do this each morning since these PC's are supposed to be "self
running" displays.
Also when Windows starts in the morning the mouse pointer will always be
centered on the screen, and then when powerpoint viewer is triggered at
startup the pointer is on top of our video material in PP.
We tried different things but without any luck to make the mouse pointer
"invisible" at ALL times.. does anybody have a tip or solution on this one.
Is there any macros or VB scripts that could work?
Best Regards
Reggie
