I work at a training facility that developed 100's of
slide shows using PPT97. We waited (due to corporate
decisions) to upgrade to a newer version and finally
upgraded to office xp. Newer, cooler stuff, more power -
hoorah and ....
THEN we found out that all the slideshows we had created
using the "hide on next mouse click" (an essential tool
used in the majority of them)and the ones that had pasted
pictures in, didn't work anymore. (maybe corporate wasn't
wrong?)
Now we have the "new" stuff laying around that cannot be
used unless we are creating new slideshows from scratch.
I read that SP2 of PPT2002(XP?) fixes (or gives a work-
around) the flipped pictures problem but I have not read
anywhere that the transition problem has been fixed.
Has anyone heard of a fix yet? Sure would like to start
using this new/already old software.
