Hide or collapse section

Hello,

I have a form with about 8 sections. Not all section may be used at once so
in order not to see it or print it, could I hide it or collapse it until it
needs to be used then have the user click on it to open?

Example: Thee are three (3) setions for Collateral. Section one is for the
main collateral and sections two and three are for additional collateral. If
there is only the main and one additional collateral, I do not want the third
section of additional collateral to show or print. This will make the form
smaller and more user friendly I think. Please let me know if there is an
possiblitiy to make this happen.

Thanks!!

You would need a userform to get information from the user when creating the
document.
If you want to provide an alternative whereby the writer can go back and
change his mind, you will need more code.

In both cases, the easiest would be to turn the font in the non-needed
section to hidden.

A more permanent solution would be to delete the undesirable sections. In
that case, if you need to add them later, autotext entries will be needed.

Currently, I have it set up as a user form with a table. All the section are
needed on the form. However, each time a user fills it out all the field on
the form may not need to be filled out based on the type of loan. So I wanted
to collapse those areas and if they are needed, the user can open them to
fill in the necessary information.

A userform is like a dialog box (Similar to any of the dialogs you get with
Word when you get to Font attributes, Save As, Table properties, etc.).

Is this what you are really writing about?
