Hide Outlook icon in the System(Notification) tray

Does anybody knows if you could have the Outlook icon removed from the
notification bar/system tray throu Group Policy

Hi Pete,
no you cant remove the icon from the notification bar!

Of course you can! If you enter the "Taskbar and Start menu properties" and
then check the checkbox "Hide inactive icons" then you can customize and hide
the icon. That must mean that it's possible to change that through GPO or
some registry setting. And that was my question.
