Hide Page Title

There is a box that can be unchecked for "Show page title." Unchecking the box will hide the page title but when the check is returned the page title is empty. Is this the expected behavior? I ask because I expected the title to be returned rather than deleted. Any thoughts?

Page Setup option says : "Hiding the page title will permanently remove the
current page title content. You can add a new page title by selecting this
option again."

However the ability to write the page title again seems to be missing. This
seems to be a bug.
