Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
I am running PowerPoint by itself (no other Office:Mac 2008 apps) on a Mac Mini with a 1.83GHz Core 2 Duo and 1 GB of RAM for a digital signage application. The show I have created is set to advance automatically and loop continuously. Hide Slide is used on a number of template slides to facilitate updating.
When the show is running, all slides appear, even those with Hide Slide selected. Saving the show as a .ppt instead of a .pptx does not correct this behavior, as does setting up the show to be browsed at a kiosk instead of to be presented by a speaker. All the latest Office and Leopard updates and patches have been applied.
Is there something, um, hidden that may be causing this behavior?
Thanks in advance!
