Is there anyone know how to hide task pane on Office 2003
(Word, Excel) startup?

Thank you in advance,
-Panan.

Unfortunately both methods you suggest will turn off the Task Pane but
they will not prevent the Task Pane from showing at startup in either
Office XP or Office 2003. And yes the commands are the same :)

I also have this problem. I don't want that stupid thing to show each
time I start word. Hope someone posts a solution, or I have to go back
to Office XP just because of this :(
