Hide Tasks in project web access

Hi:

We usually publish tasks instead of whole project so that resources only see
the tasks they are assigned to. Some manegsr published the whole project and
now resources see bunch of tasks which ther are not working on, they can
enter time towards those tasks which they should not. How can I remove
unneccesary tasks and leave tasks which respurces need in there PWA to enter
time?

I know to remove tasks from the whole project just make the repsurce
proposed and rebupblish but in this case i just want to remove few taks while
leaving other taks in resources PWA.

PWA i mean project web access.

Any help will be appreciated.

In essence, you can't. Therefore, you need to make this a training issue
with your team members as follows:

1. Team members should select the "Current tasks" option on their timesheet
page in PWA so they only see the current work they need to perform
2. Team members must be absolutely forbidden from entering time in the
future for tasks they are working on today

You can also change the time, so your resources can only see so far out into
the future. You do this through the Customize Project Web access page. If
they are seeing tasks that they are not assigned to, then you need to modify
your team member security role.
