Hello:

1. I hide two columns
2. by using Edit-unhide, I can only unhide one of the columns, not both
3. Is there a way to hide/unhide more then one column in a session?
4. Is ther a way to see what coluns are hidden?

Please advise & thanks

Paul,
If you hide multiple columns simultaneously, (i.e. select multiple
columns and then right click for "hide column"), and then do an
immediate Edit/Undo Hide Column, all the columns will reappear. If you
hide columns individually and then unhide, only the last column to be
hidden will reappear.

All versions of Project up through 2003 have only a single level of
undo. Although I haven't tired it, I understand Project 2007 has
multiple levels of undo.

There are a ton of fields in Project that can be shown as columns in a
view. If any one of those columns is hidden via the above method, then
no, you will not be able to tell which one was hidden. If on the other
hand you "hide" a column by dragging its vertical separator to the left,
you are essentially making the column a zero width column and you CAN
find out which columns have been hidden by going to View/Table/More
Tables and hitting "edit". Columns that show a "0" in the width column
of the Table Definition window are columns that have been hidden in this
manner.

Hope this helps.

A better way of handling columns is to create Multiple Tables so you simply
swap Tables when you want different information displayed. Create new tables
via View, Table:, More Tables.
