Hide unwanted Office updates, like you can on the XP update page..

When you do not want to download or install a Windows XP OS update, you can
check a box on the page to NOT download it, AND HIDE it from future review,
unless you check the show UNINSTALLED updates (?) link. I fail to see how you
can do the same on the Office updates page. So I continue to see a
recommendated update that I have absolutely no use for, i.e. "French grammar
checker."

I found this reply from Bob Buckland above and find it excellent:

"The French proofing tools are included in
the English language editions of Office XP
(2002 apps) and Office 2003.

It apparently has a security issue that the
update corrects. It will likely also be
rolled into the next Office 2003 Service Pack.

As you have the CD that includes the option to
install that feature, the update is offered to
provide the 'change' to correct the flaw should
you decide to install it at some point. Installing
first (with a problem) and later finding out about
an error condition would likely be less desirable :)"
