I've read previous messages describing how to hide a label for a blank
field and -- being deathly afraid of coding -- chose to try out the
"non-code" method of converting the label to a textbox and entering in
the control source:
="FieldName "+[Field]
Unfortunately, it's not working with entire success for me for some
reason. I get large spaces between some of the fields, perhaps because
there are so MANY blank fields in this particular report.
What I really need is a way to hide ANY blank fields and their labels
and to close up the space they would normally take up in a report. It's
awfully tedious to have to enter something in the control source of
each field. Is there any way (that I can understand with my pea brain)
by which I can let Access know with one command that *anytime* I have a
blank field, I don't want to see it in my report?
Thanks in advance,
Cindy
