Hiding Recurring Events in the Monthly View

Is there any way to hide recurring events in the monthly calendar view? I
can do this in Outlook, but I have only been able to figure out how to hide
them in the list view and not the monthly view in Entourage. Any help will
be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
